Course: Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Duration: 2 hours

Description: This 2 hour Course is to ensure personnel who handle or manage oil understand and are properly instructed to perform their responsibilities as required by the Clean Water Act for certain facilities which use oil. Topics will include a discussion of the site specific SPCC Plan for your facility, overview of applicable pollution control laws, rules and regulations, proper operation and maintenance of equipment to prevent oil discharges, inspection procedures and protocols, emergency response procedures, Familiarization with environmental, health, and safety hazards associated with oil. Training is required annually.
